Mary Visits Elisabeth
Scripture: Luke 1:39-42, 46-48, 56

The
angel of the Lord told Mary that her cousin, Elisabeth, who was old and had
never had children was also with child and about 6 months along. Elisabeth was
married to Zacharias. Mary went to visit Elisabeth. She stayed about three
months. This is an important event because Elisabeth is going to give birth to John, whom we later know him as John the Baptist. He plays a very important role in the Saviors life.
